engineering: Design and detailed
engineering for all 6 project
sites (Bheri Zonal Hospital, Sorahawa
PHCC, Rajapur PHCC, Bardiya District
Hospital, Dhading District Hospital,
Gajuri PHCC). The local consultant
WELINK/Multi has already been
selected to do the design/detailed
engineering for the three project
sites Bheri Zonal Hospital, Sorahawa
PHCC and Rajapur PHCC. However,
in order to accelerate the process,
the TOR for WELINK/Multi may be
extended to cover all six project
sites.
Local consultant for construction
supervision: Construction supervision
and acceptance of civil works
together with TDF and GITEC.
International Consultant: GITEC
will do the overall monitoring
and quality assurance, e.g.:
· assist TDF with the
selection (as far as still necessary)
and monitoring of the consultant
for design/detailed engineering
- approve TOR and award proposal
- together with TDF, review
of design and engineering
documents prepared by local
consultant
- ensure that design documents
are elaborated in line with
the respective TOR
- ensure that the most cost-effective
solution is selected
· assist TDF with the
selection of contractors
· assist TDF with the
selection and monitoring of
the consultant for construction
supervision
- approve TOR and award proposal
- coordinate with TDF of
site visits at critical milestones
of works execution
- accept construction works
· GITEC, together with
TDF, will be responsible for
overall financial monitoring.
TDF will inform GITEC
about all financial transactions
from the sub-account of the
disposition fund and GITEC
will approve the requests for
replenishment
GTZ/HSSP: The main role of
GTZ/HSSP is - together with
GITEC - to do the needs assessment
for equipment. |
