Q. What is TDF |

|
TDF i.e. Town Development
Fund is an autonomous body form under the Ministry of Physical
Planning and Transport in 1990 to support the municipalities
of the country providing loan and grant. From 2002 TDF has
started to provide loan to User committees of Small Town
Water Supply and Sanitation Support Programme under the
loan agreement with ADB (Asian development Bank). |

services of Housing and land development as Town development
Committee? |

development Committee does. |

Mainly the Municipalities,
Hospitals, Health Centres, and users committees of Small
Towns water Supply Projects can get supports from TDF. |

TDF provides support in
the form of Loan and Grant for Engineering study, construction
Supervision and the construction of the Municipal projects,
Hospitals and Health Centres. Similarly as per the agreement
with ADB, TDF provides loan to users committee of Small
town water Supply and Sanitation Support Programme. |

TDF? |

TDF provides support in
the form of Loan and Grant for study of the projects, construction
Supervision and the construction of the projects itself.

Q. How can one apply for loan and loan
or grant projects? |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Following documents or obligations should be
fulfilled by the applicants while applying for loan-grant
form TDF for the projects.
·
Separate Loan Form or Grant Form should be filled up by the
applicant for individual
project. (Blue words should be linked up)
·
A copy of minute of decision on request for loan or grant
from TDF made by Municipality
should attach with the application.
·
Land certificate (if applicable) should be attached.
· For Consultant service the
respective stakeholders should
submit
Completed Grant Form along with the minute of decision.
· For request of loan,
stakeholders should include a copy of minute, decided at
least by 2/3 members of
the committee. |

Q. What is grace period? |
| |
|
|
| |
|
For KfW funded Loan, grace period is the period
during when the borrower should return only the interest but
not the Principle.
For ADB funded Loan process the grace period is the period,
during when the borrower should neither return the interest
nor the Principle. |

Q. When will the grace period be counted
from? |

The count starts from the date of Sub-Loan
